For our senior project we have decided to create an interactive online literary and arts magazine. This blog will help us organize our thoughts as well as show our progress. Meetings galore!
Kathleen has set up meetings with local publishers in order to discuss our concept and what resources we have. Both meetings are with local publishers, so it will be a great opportunity to learn about literary journals in LA. As the first few dominos fall...
Today, Mirannda had her first meeting with Danae Howe, the computer teacher at Westridge School, about the design of the SCRIPTS website. The meeting was short and sweet and left Mirannda with more research to do! Ms. Howe gave her some websites to look at to see how much control a host website would give us. Scripts is supposed to be a fun and interactive website and we want to make sure it doesn't just end up like a blank page with text on it. So far, Mirannda is very happy with the materials she has gathered from these two websites: Wix and Issuu. 
This was only the first of many meetings between Mirannda and Ms. Howe to discuss and explore our online options. Here we go!
